Authorities ID Dead Woman Found Inside Burning RV In SF Valley

Authorities today identified a woman who died at the scene of an RV fire in the San Fernando Valley.

SAN FERNANDO VALLEY -- Authorities today identified a woman who died at the scene of an RV fire near Sun Valley.

Monica Enriquez, 32, died at scene, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner, which listed her cause of death as ``deferred.''

Firefighters responded at 9:05 p.m. Monday to 11800 Strathern St., near Lankershim Boulevard, where they found the recreational vehicle engulfed in flames, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

When they extinguished the fire, crews found the body inside the vehicle, LAFD spokesman Nicholas said.

Another woman who was inside the RV ran away and was treated at the scene for burns and smoke inhalation by paramedics, Prange said. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
