Authorities Identify Person Killed In Multi-Vehicle Crash

CHATSWORTH, CA — Authorities identified the man killed in a multi-vehicle crash Wednesday in Chatsworth.

Adrian Marquez, 21, was pronounced dead on the scene, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The man was from Pacoima.

Two other people were transported to local hospitals in "at least serious condition," the department said.

The fire department responded to a multi-vehicle collision around 8:38 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Winnetka Ave. and Lassen St. Authorities performed a physical extrication operation, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
