¡Ay, Caramba! Bart Simpson's Voice Lives in Northridge

As a '90s kid, I have a lot to be nostalgic about: the Michael Jordan era, the Super Nintendo vs. the Sega Genesis, MTV when it actually showed music videos all day.

But The Simpsons are on another level. It's a funny family of five, no, a city filled with funny people with endless stories and adventures to tell of that I've grown up with and still enjoy watching to this day.

Who my age didn't want to be as bad as Bart Simpson when they were 10? At a certain point it became hard to believe that at the end of the day they were just drawings and voice actors breathed life into them.

We recently reported that Le Show, anchored by Harry Shearer, who voices an army of Simpsons characters including Mr. Burns, Mr. Smithers and Principal Skinner, was moving his radio program to CSUN's airwaves.

But did you know another leading voice actually lives in Northridge? Bart's voice is provided Nancy Cartwright, who owns a local country-style home.

The LA Times recently did a neat photo gallery of Cartwright in her home and yes, she does have voice recording equipment at home, though I was a little disappointed in the lack of Simpsons memorabilia. Oh well, enjoy if you're as big as fan as I am!
