Brush Fire Breaks Out Near Woolsey Canyon
Several departments are fighting the fire near the Chatsworth Nature Preserve.
CHATSWORTH, CA — Los Angeles Fire Department resources have been dispatched in a mutual aid effort to support the LA County and Ventura County Fire Departments, from both the ground and the air, to contain a brush fire at 24707 W. Woolsey Canyon Road in Woolsey Canyon, a few miles west of the Chatsworth Nature Preserve. The LAFD is currently staged and not engaged in firefighting.
