Burst Water Main Floods Northridge Street
A six-inch water main burst in Northridge overnight, flooding a street and affecting water service in the area.

NORTHRIDGE, CA — Crews from the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power were sent to the Northridge area Monday to repair a six-inch water main that burst during the night, authorities said.
The rupture was reported at 2 am. at Topeka Drive and Tribune Street, the DWP said. Ten customers were affected.
Repairs could be complete by noon, the DWP said.
