Crash Prompts Sig Alert On 405 Freeway

A two-vehicle collision prompted a Sig Alert on the 405 Freeway in Granada Hills Monday morning.

NORTHRIDGE, CA — A collision on the San Diego (405) Freeway prompted a 30 minute Sig Alert Monday morning in Granada Hills. The Sig Alert was cleared around 9:55 a.m.

The crash was reported around 9:01 a.m. on 405 South near Rinaldi Street, according to California Highway Patrol. The collision closed two freeway lanes for at least 30 minutes.

CHP reported there was at least one injury but the nature of the injury was not immediately clear. It was not immediately clear how many people were injured.
