CHATSWORTH, CA — The 18th annual Day of the Horse is fast approaching, and Chatsworth students still have a chance to enter a poster competition for the celebration.

The Day of the Horse celebration will take place on April 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Stoney Point Ranch, which is at 10861 Andora Avenue. The event is sponsored by the Chatsworth Neighborhood Council and Los Angeles City Councilmember John Lee.

Leading up to the event, young Chatsworth creatives can submit original posters designs to display at the Day of the Horse. Any student between kindergarten and eighth grade can submit art work as long as they go to school in Chatsworth, live in Chatsworth or have family that lives or works in Chatsworth.
