Driver Plows Through Fence Into Backyard Pool

The driver was arrested at the scene on suspicion of Driving under the influence.

WINNETKA, CA— A driver who crashed into the pool at an apartment building in Winnetka Thursday is suspected of driving under the influence, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The driver, a man in his 20s, plowed through a hedge and a fence, landing squarely in the backyard pool at an apartment building in the 7200 block of Winnetka Avenue. The crash happened at about 12:30 a.m. near Sherman Way, the LAPD confirmed.

Neither the driver nor anyone else was injured in the crash. The driver was arrested at the scene on suspicion of Driving under the influence.
