Motorcyclist Killed In Northridge Crash

NORTHRIDGE, CA — A motorcycle rider was killed after a crash in Northridge, the Los Angeles Police Department said Thursday.

LAPD officers were called at 10:06 p.m. Wednesday to Nordoff Street and Louise Avenue regarding reports of a collision. According to witnesses, the victim and the driver of an unknown vehicle were both driving east on Nordoff when a collision occurred, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.

The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the officers, police said.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
