An appeal hearing to the approval of a 65,797-square-foot elder care facility at 17531-17545 Parthenia St. is being held on Thursday.
The North Valley Area Planning Commission is scheduled to consider the matter at 4:30 p.m. at the Van Nuys Council Chambers, 14410 Sylvan Street, Second Floor, Van Nuys, CA 91401.
The Sherwood Forest Homeowners Association filed an appeal last month this month, even after the development's scope was reduced. The association claims that the development is too big for the neighborhood.
