Farmers Market Moves Back to Devonshire Street

Vendors will offer their wares on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Chatsworth Farmers Market is moving back to Devonshire Street on Saturday, Sept. 17.

After operating at , 10347 Mason Ave., since last January, the Farmers Market is moving back to the grounds of , 20121 Devonshire St., according Manny Hernandez, organizer and manager.

The Farmers Market will again set up shop at Winnetka Avenue and Devonshire Street.  The renewed location will operate Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Hernandez said.

Earlier, he said he hoped the Farmers Market would benefit at the Mason Street location from increased traffic heading to and from Porter Ranch. However, vendors were also competing with Trader Joe's and Smart & Final across the street, and Vons a block away.

A return to Devonshire Street could mean more visibility for the vendors.
