Father Of Two Killed in Glendale Strip Mall Shooting: Report

The victim was a music promoter shot by a gunman on a waiting motorcycle, according to reports.

GLENDALE, CA — A man was fatally shot Thursday at a Glendale strip mall may have been targeted in what appeared to be a planned homicide, according to witnesses and investigators.

The victim, a father of two and music industry promoter, stepped outside of a business meeting, where the shooter waited for him on a motorcycle, KTLA reported, citing witnesses.

Glendale Police Department officers were called to the 800 block of North Arden Avenue at about 8:45 a.m. A 911-caller reported a shooting and a man dead at the scene, according to the Glendale Police Department.

“I heard this man came to a meeting here and another man on a motorcycle came and shot the victim in the head and he died instantly,” a witness who did not wish to be identified told KTLA.

No arrests were reported, and no suspect information was released.
