Free Oral Health Screenings and Dental Treatment Offered in Northridge

Those needing further treatment after the initial screening will come back for more work.

From a press release:

What: Free oral health screening exams, oral care instructions and dental home care kits to people who are in dire need of dental care. Special screening and sealant treatment for kids will be provided as well.

For those people who need further treatment after initial screening, you will be treated by faculty, residents, trainees and dental students from the UCLA School of Dentistry who are donating their time and expertise.

Where: The initial screening will take place on Saturday, Nov. 8 at the Wilshire Bank Northridge Branch at 8401 Reseda Blvd., Northridge, CA 91324 and the dental care will take place on Saturday, Nov. 22, at the UCLA School of Dentistry Westwood Clinic.

Complimentary transportation will be provided to the School of Dentistry’s Westwood clinic to patients who are receiving dental treatment from Wilshire Bank Northridge Branch.

When:

· Screening Day: Saturday, Nov. 8, events starts at 9 a.m.

· Treatment Day: Saturday, Nov. 22

Why: This opportunity has been provided to bank customers and residents of the Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley metropolitan areas to receive dental care and oral hygiene education as a result of a partnership between Wilshire Bank and the UCLA School of Dentistry.
