Greetings Music Lovers and Lovers of Every Kind!
Dr. Paul Hannig of the Love Ambassadors duo gives us a musical update ....
This is Dr. Paul from the wild and crazy musical duo, the Love Ambassadors. To begin with, I want to wish everyone an incredible fantastic rest of the week.
But in the meantime, it’s my job to tell you about our magical musical experience this past Tuesday, January 16. The day was perfect and magnificently beautiful at Chatsworth Park South.
To cut to the chase, we brought in and introduced a few new original songs. One of them was the satirical, “Whatever Happened to My Hair?“ that broke the audience up surprisingly. Then we introduced and played a dual composition entitled, “Follow Your Star” and, “I Want to Thank You”. This creation addressed themes of a deep and powerful love between father and son, drug addiction, deafness, resurrection, mental illness (schizophrenia), Transcendence, success, and ultimate conquest.

Like many creations, archetypes of the hero, love, conquest, messiah, connectedness, etc. exist in the very nature of their themes and stories.
The experience was so incredible and powerful, that afterward it could only be experienced with the archetype, “miracle.“ I can only say that it is not easy to script a show and a creation that we can present at Chatsworth Park South. It’s always a work in progress. But I noticed that in my private practice as a psychotherapist, every client had a story, a narrative, a script. Part of healing some of these personal wounds consisted of therapeutically rewriting the story and the script that was embedded in the consciousness of my therapy clients.

Scripting and rescripting became a powerful tool for therapeutic change and creativity. In fact, one of my clients became so good in creating and re-scripting his existence, that he got his script to top executives in film. I am one of the characters in this film script. Guess what! It’s an incredible musical story. Another client, with a magnificent singing voice, was having deep difficulties in her life. I suggested that she write and script songs that could therapeutically help heal and cure her pain.
She ended up with an entire book and manuscript of self-written songs. The songs and her therapy got her to perform with a local jazz and pop band. She even performed a few of her songs in front of us and with us at Chatsworth Park South, months ago. It has also been helpful to apply dance therapy, music therapy and laughter therapy in with script writing to bring about change.
This weekend presents us with some challenging weather conditions. We are expecting rain. But who knows … there still might be an opportunity to play and introduce new themes and songs. We will try and let you know.
In the meantime, I wish you all the love and happiness that the universe has to offer.
Love,
Dr. Paul
