Horse Spotted Roaming Around Chatsworth

The horse apparently decided to go for a stroll around the streets of Chatsworth.

CHATSWORTH, CA —Anyone lose a horse?

A horse was spotted roaming around Chatsworth last week and running down the street, police said. A passerby stopped it and waited with it for police to arrive.

When they arrived, they called the horse's owner to come pick it up.

Before that, the horse made its way to Lassen Street and Topanga Canyon Boulevard. That's when patrons of nearby restaurants called police to help get the horse back home.

Some locals said they saw the horse running from Devonshire Street to Chatsworth Street on Topanga Canyon Boulevard.

Others took to Facebook to share where they had seen the horse. One Facebook user said the horse got back home safe and sound.

Heidi DeSimone, who took a picture of the horse above, said it was scary to see the horse on Topanga Canyon Boulevard. She was dining at the near by Country Deli when she saw it.
