He returned home to Los Angeles from a tour in April and was hospitalized with stomach pain, he said, while gasping for breath.

"I was in the hospital for nine days. I got release, and I thought I was on the road to recovery...but my pancreas is inflamed, and there is not much you can do about it but wait for the inflammation to go down," he said in a video filmed from his hospital bed. "I didn't realize that I was going to be and will be out of work for quite some time. I'm setting up this GoFundMe to help with some of my medical bills, but just expenses. If you have anything you can donate, I would gladly appreciate it."
