Just How Much Homework Should a Teacher Assign?
Parents hear proposed district policy at Lawrence Middle School.
A plan to limit homework to 20 percent of a student's grade met noisy opposition at a Chatsworth meeting sponsored by the school district at Lawrence Middle School Thursday.
It was one of eight LAUSD meetings held to give parents an opportunity to express their opinions.
Some found the assignments a burden. "The amount of homework is killing creativity," one mom shouted.
