Gas Prices Rise for 17th Straight Day in L.A.County
Reversing a downward trend, the average gas price jumps 18.2 cents during the 17-day period.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose Sunday for the 17th consecutive day, increasing three-tenths of a cent to $3.724.

The average price is 6.9 cents more than one week ago, 9.7 cents higher than a month ago and 38.6 cents greater than a year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
