Lucky's Been Adopted!

The dog finds a home after being dropped off at the pound.

Four-year-old Lucky, which is now considered to be a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, was adopted by a man and a woman from the West Los Angeles Animal Shelter on Tuesday.

The pooch belonged to a caregiver of Peggy Burgess. The employee accepted another job and could not take Lucky with her and Burgess couldn't care for it either.

Former Patch reporter Julie Walmsley was at the shelter checking out Lucky for a few friends that might have been interested in adopting him.
