Man, 24, Killed In North Hills, Shooter At Large

Police are asking for help identifying a suspect in the early morning shooting that left a man to die in the street.

NORTH HILLS, CA — Police are seeking leads Monday in the shooting death of a 24-year-old man in North Hills.

Authorities do not yet have a motive nor suspect description in the early morning slaying Sunday in the 8700 block of Parthenia Place.

Los Angeles Police Department officers were called to the scene shortly before 5 a.m. Sunday

"They found the victim lying in the street suffering from a gunshot wound," the LAPD announced in a written statement. "The Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced the victim deceased at scene."

Police canvassed the area for leads and are asking for the publics help in finding the killer. According to police, the victim is a 24-year-old Hispanic man. His name is being withheld pending, notification of his family.
