Mini Donkey, Horse Loose In Chatsworth

It's not all too unusual for animals to roam about in Chatsworth, but locals still loved to see this mini donkey and mini horse return home.

CHATSWORTH, CA — In true Chatsworth style, a mini horse and mini donkey were spotted roaming around Devonshire Street Tuesday morning.

The horses were returned home safely after being loose near Chatsworth Elementary school, near where they usually live, according to Gayle Paperno, owner of Total Equestrian Experience in Chatsworth.

The animals were spotted just before 7 a.m. in a picture posted to Facebook. Paperno saw the post and immediately mobilized. Being part of the large equestrian community in Chatsworth, Paperno knew it would not be hard to locate the animals' owners. Within about an hour they were safely returned home with no injuries, she said.
