How do you know the teacher?
Nadia is my loving mother.
What does this person teach?
Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?
Everyday, when Nadia comes home from her day at school teaching students, she talks about the progress her students have made and the funny little things they do. When she speaks you can feel the love and care she holds for her students. She hangs pictures of them on the fridge and loves telling us about her clever lesson plans.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?
I want everyone to know that my mother, Nadia Dhaou, is the kind of teacher you’d want to leave your child in the care of. She’s attentive with kids who are special ED/needs, she knows how to comfort students while also making sure they are disciplined in areas like table manners, basic etiquette, throwing away trash and cleaning up after themselves. My mother is the best teacher I ever had growing up, she taught my sisters and I everything we know, so take this nomination to heart.
