Pepper Tree Downs Power Line, Crushes Two Cars
No injuries were reported in the incident.

A pepper tree fell in a Northridge neighborhood, downing a power line and crushing two cars owned by the same family, police said today.
The incident occurred at 18518 Napa St. at 8:50 p.m. Sunday, said Sgt. Tim Counihan of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Devonshire Station.
“We think it was from the high winds of the last two Saturday nights,” Counihan said.
