Pileup Shuts Down 101 Freeway For Hours
Multiple people were injured in the overnight crash in the Woodland Hills area.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A pileup that injured at least two people triggered an hours-long SigAlert on the Ventura (101) Freeway overnight.
The crash shut down the westbound lanes of the 101 in the Woodland Hills area just east of Fallbrook Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol. The three-car crash was reported just before 1 a.m., and the lanes were not reopened until after 5 a.m.
KTLA reported that several people were injured in the crash, and two people were rushed to hospitals by ambulance in unknown condition.
