Rappers Polo G And Trench Baby Arrested In Valley Armed Robbery
Police arrested the siblings in connection with a robbery that allegedly occurred at what was supposed to be a Granada Hills video shoot.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Police arrested a pair of well-known sibling rappers known as Polo G and Trench Baby in connection with an armed robbery in Granada Hills, the Los Angeles Police Department announced Thursday.
According to police, Taurean Bartlett, a musician known as "Trench Baby," lured the victim to his home in the 18500 block of Clydesdale Avenue in Granada Hills Aug. 15 on the pretense of filming a rap video.
"The victim arrived at the suspect's residence to film a rap video. At that time, the suspect produced a handgun with an extended magazine and demanded that the victim transfer money to an unknown account over a money transfer service," the LAPD said in a written release. "The victim was in fear and complied. The suspect also demanded the victim empty his pockets."

Taurean, 18, was booked on suspicion of robbery and was being held on $100,000 bail. His brother 24-year-old Taurus, a musician known as "Polo G," was booked on suspicion of possession of a short-barreled rifle and was being held without bail, according to the LAPD and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
"Through the investigation, it was determined the suspect and victim knew each other from a prior working relationship," police said.

Detectives served a search warrant on Taurean Bartlett's home.
"Detectives gathered further intelligence that the suspect may be staying with his brother Taurus Bartlett," police said.
On Wednesday, detectives found the brothers and arrested them, police said.
"Detectives authored a search warrant addendum including the residence where Taurus Barlett was staying," the LAPD said in a written statement. "The warrant was served, and numerous firearms were recovered from both locations and a vehicle registered to Taurus Bartlett."
Both men were booked at the Van Nuys Jail, police said.
Pop G has released multiple Billboard 200 albums including the 2021 chat-topping album Hall of Fame with the number one single "Rapstar." The brothers, Chicago natives, have been arrested together before. In 2021, the pair was reportedly arrested in Miami on charges including criminal mischief and resisting arrest, according to USA Today. The charges were later dropped.
