San Fernando Valley Pharmacy Burglaries Investigated By Authorities

SAN FERNANDO VALLEY -- The Los Angeles Police Department today was investigating multiple pharmacy burglaries in the San Fernando Valley.

One of the three burglaries took place around 2:45 a.m. Thursday at a pharmacy in the 13000 block of Van Nuys Boulevard in Pacoima, police said.

According to broadcast reports, two additional burglaries were reported Wednesday night in Northridge and Valley Village.

KCAL9 aired surveillance footage from St. Mary Pharmacy in Northridge, where four male suspects were seen breaking into the business and taking merchandise.

The suspects allegedly stole an entire safe of Schedule II narcotics from one of the pharmacies, KCAL9 reported.

Police told the station there was a fifth female suspect at one of the burglary locations.

No additional suspect information was immediately available.
