SigAlert: Dump Truck Crash Jams 5 Freeway Near Burbank
Drivers are being advised to avoid the area Wednesday after a crash tied up traffic on the Golden State (5) Freeway.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A dump truck crash on the Golden State (5) Freeway in the Burbank area left at least one person injured and triggered an ongoing SigAlert Wednesday.
The California Highway Patrol has issued a SigAlert for the northbound side of the 5 Freeway just south of Burbank Boulevard where two lanes were closed while crews worked to clean up the wreckage.
The CHP was called out to the scene shortly before 11 a.m. and issued a SigAlert at about 11:30 a.m. that was expected to last for an hour.

Witnesses reported several vehicles damaged by debris in the road from the dump truck crash. Commuters are advised to avoid the area and to expect delays.
