Simi Valley Tries to Shut Out Adult Film Productions
Some producers threaten to quit Chatsworth and Los Angeles.

The new Los Angeles ordinance by male actors on adult film sets goes into effect this morning, although the city has yet to work out a way to enforce the requirement.

Steve Chawkins of the Los Angeles Times reports today that Simi Valley Mayor Bob Huber says, "The bottom line is we don't want to be known as the porn capital of the world." He's pushing for a local condom measure similar to one the L.A. City Council approved in January.
