Students Evacuated As Fire Breaks Out At Granada Hills High School
The fire broke out Thursday morning.

GRANADA HILLS, CA — A fire broke out at John F. Kennedy High School Thursday morning.
The fire was reported at around 10 a.m. on the roof of an under-construction building at the high school, located at 11246 Gothic Ave. Students were evacuated from nearby school buildings per protocol, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The fire was extinguished by firefighters in under 30 minutes.

No injuries were reported.
Firefighters were set to remain on the scene along with staff from the Department of Building and Safety to assess the safety of the damaged building.
