Teens Crash Stolen Car In Chase Through SFV: Police
A pair of teens led police on a chase through the San Fernando Valley before crashing in Simi Valley, and fleeing on foot.
SIMI VALLEY, CA — Two teens were arrested after leading police on a chase through the San Fernando Valley to Simi Valley, where they crashed and attempted to flee on foot.
The chase began at about 7:30 a.m. Thursday in the Los Angeles Police Department's Devonshire Division. According to the Simi Valley Police Department, police attempted to stop the teens, who were suspected of driving a stolen vehicle.
The teens fled into the county area around Santa Susana Pass and Katherine roads before crashing near Clear Springs Road, according to police. They fled into a nearby field on foot.

Just before 8:30 a.m., a Simi Valley Police Department officer saw two teens matching the suspect descriptions walking northbound on Katherine Street.
"The juveniles were contacted and positively identified as the driver and passenger of the stolen vehicle," the Simi Valley Police Department announced in a written statement. "Both subjects...were issued citations and released to their parents."
