According to organizer Tim Ross, here's what to expect:

In the "Kiwanis Great Race," teams of two must overcome a series of challenges to earn clues that will lead the players on a three-hour race through Chatsworth.

Challenges will require speed, stamina, skill and smarts.

Every team will start with a challenge that when completed will earn them a clue to their next destination where they will participate in a new challenge in order to earn their next clue, and so on until they finish.  At each challenge destination, a monitor will check teams in and when the challenge is completed, they will have their “passport” stamped and receive their next clue.  Most challenges will require both team members to participate, some challenges will require only one member to participate (both members must participate in individual challenges during the course of the entire race).

The first team to reach the finish line and be checked-in before any other teams is the winner!

There will be prizes along the way, but the grand prize winners will take home $500!

Kiwanis meets 7 p.m. every Tuesday at the Los Toros Restaurant, 21743 Devonshire St.
