Topanga Canyon Boulevard Daytime Lane Closures Planned
Several lanes of Topanga Canyon Boulevard will be closed during the day as part of a construction project in the San Fernando Valley.

CHATSWORTH, CA — Multiple lanes of Topanga Canyon Boulevard in the San Fernando Valley will be closed during the day beginning next week as part of a construction project, Caltrans announced Friday.
One lane in each direction will be closed Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning Monday, July 29. All lanes will reopen at 3 p.m. each day.
The construction will impact the southbound intersections of Topanga Canyon Boulevard at the following streets:

- Galvez Street
- Ybarra Road
- Clarendon Street
- Alizondo Drive
- Independencia Street
- Velicata Street
- San Luis Avenue
The closures will allow crews to complete curb-ramp construction.
The work is part of a larger project to repave Topanga Canyon Boulevard (State Route 27) and upgrade curb ramps, pedestrian push buttons, and bus pads in the San Fernando Valley and through the unincorporated area of Topanga. The work zone spans more than 18 miles on SR-27 from Pacific Coast Highway to Devonshire Street in Chatsworth.
