NORTHRIDGE, CA —A teenage victim was taken to a hospital in unknown condition after being stabbed Monday in Northridge.

Officers responded to the 9600 block of Balboa Boulevard, near Plummer Street, around 5:05 p.m. to reports regarding a stabbing victim, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

It was unclear what motivated the stabbing moments before the suspect fled the scene.
