Tree Trimmer Killed In Fall On Iron Fence In Canoga Park

CANOGA PARK, CA — A man working as a tree trimmer died Monday afternoon after falling from a tree in Canoga Park.

The worker fell during a tree-trimming operation after 3 p.m. on the 7400 block of Canoga Avenue, near Valerio Street. He fell onto an iron fence, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

"Unfortunately, the worker succumbed to his injuries and was determined dead by LAFD," authorities said.
