A weekend of family fun starts Friday night with a community festival and a senior dance.
The three-day Valley Family Festival kicks off at 6 p.m. at Northridge Park and will continue through Sunday with carnival rides, games, arts activities, food trucks, a health fair expo, live music and more.
The Fab Girls, Into the Mixx, Sylmar Folklorico are scheduled to perform at the free event.
The senior dance begins Friday when doors open at 5:30 p.m. at the Northridge Park Gymnasium. Dinner is served from at 6 p.m., which is when the dance begins and lasts through 9 p.m. Admission is $2 for this event.
Northridge Park is located at 10058 Reseda Blvd. The Vally Festival runs from 6-10 p.m. on Friday, noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
The Northridge Park Gymnasium is located at 18300 Lemarsh St.
