[VIDEO] Deasy Admits LAUSD Broke the Law

Superintendent explains how the schools are protecting students.

The school district broke state law by waiting a year to reveal that it was firing an instructor under investigation for alleged lewd acts with students, LAUSD Superintendent John Deasy said Friday according to Barbara Jones' report in the Daily News.

In a video distributed to all district faculty, Deasy explained how the schools are protecting students from inappropriate sexual contact.

A janitor at Germain Street Elementary School in Chatsworth as well as a third-grade teacher from Chatsworth working at Telfair Elementary School in Pacoima, were among several school employees arrested in recent days.
