2 DUI Suspects Arrested In Novato

NOVATO, CA -- Two people were arrested Friday at a Novato checkpoint for allegedly driving under the influence. The checkpoint was conducted on South Novato Boulevard and Sunset Parkway.

Ten other drivers were cited or arrested for operating a vehicle unlicensed or while suspended/revoked, police said.

A total of 453 cars were screened during the checkpoint between 6 p.m. and 12 a.m., police said.

The checkpoint was funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
