The University of Evansville is proud to announce that Elvin McRae, a native of Novato, has graduated with the degree of Bachelor of Fine Arts.
McRae, who majored in theater, graduated during UE's 154th commencement, held May 5 at the Ford Center in downtown Evansville. The university awarded 529 degrees to 515 graduates during the ceremony.
"For more than 150 years, the University of Evansville has provided life-transforming educational experiences, preparing students for lives of personal and professional service and leadership," said UE President Thomas A. Kazee. "At Commencement, we're delighted to celebrate the success of students such as Elvin McRae, and we look forward to watching the Class of 2012 accomplish amazing things as they engage the world as informed, ethical, and productive citizens."
