
Novato-based Fireman's Fund Insurance and its employees donated more than $25,000 to the American Red Cross to support those affected by Superstorm Sandy.
Also, Fireman's Fund matched employees' monetary donations to food banks across the U.S., raising close to $20,000.
The Novato office participated in the Novato firefighters annual toy drive, collecting several hundred toys for local children as well as three barrels of food for the San Francisco Marin Food Bank.

For the first time, Fireman's Fund employees also held a drive for Project Glitter which provides at risk girls and women with jewelry, handbags and other items during the holidays.
