How Bay Bridge Temporary Closure Could Affect Marin Drivers

When making Presidents Day Weekend plans, consider how the temporary closure of westbound Bay Bridge traffic might complicate trips to the city by Marin folks.

The westbound deck of the Bay Bridge is closing between 8 p.m. Feb. 17 and 5 a.m. Feb. 21, and East Bay drivers could opt for the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge and Golden Gate Bridge if they're heading to San Francisco. Marin drivers can expect increased traffic on Highway 101 south of San Rafael during those times.
