Skidmore College's Class of 2012, totaling 627 baccalaureate candidates, participated in the College's 101st Commencement on May 19 at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
Kathryn Lazell of Novato received a BA degree Magna Cum Laude. She is the daughter of Bill Lazell of Novato, and Carol Lazell of Cambridge, Mass.
Founded in 1903, Skidmore College is a coeducational, liberal arts college that enrolls approximately 2,400 students. The college grants both the bachelor of arts and the bachelor of science degree, as well as a master's degree in liberal studies.
