is preparing for its biggest fundraiser of the year, the MSA Showcase on March 10, and event volunteers are appealing for raffle prizes and program advertisers.
In addition to showcasing art and performances from MSA students, the event is designed to encourage socializing and boosting the school’s sense of community. It’s a great chance to meet folks from within and outside of the MSA community.
The MSA Showcase will include performances, an arts display, food and beverages, large raffle items and fun gift baskets. Organizers are looking for donations of about 10 large raffle items to help raise money for the school. All items need to be secured by Jan. 23 to allow for mentioning in the event invitations. Also, advertising space in the showcase program is on sale now. The ads can promote businesses or be personal to encourage the students. The costs range from $50 to $200. For details, contact Shannon Miller (Shannon360@verizon.net).
