Ryan Rohtla Featured in University of Evansville Art Exhibition

Artwork by Novato resident Ryan Rohtla, who is majoring in theater, was recently selected for the 50th Annual Student Juried Exhibition at the University of Evansville's  Melvin Peterson Gallery.

Rohtla's Peaceful Pears (ink and colored pencil) was among 97 pieces chosen for the exhibition from 230 total submitted entries. They were on display for about three weeks.

The juror for the exhibition was Susan Bryant, who recently completed a photography exhibition, Presence and Absence, in the Melvin Peterson Gallery. Bryant is a professor of art at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee, where she has taught photography for the past 29 years. Her work, including photography that utilizes 19th century processes, has been widely exhibited across the United States in solo and juried exhibitions.
