What's this Leadership Novato program you've heard about? 

Well, it's pretty much like getting a Ph.D. in the inner workings of our city. Just ask Novato's community leaders and you'll find that many of them are graduates of the program.

The program is packed with lectures, field trips and discussions plus a final project that benefits our community in some way. From September to May, the Leadership Novato team meets the second Wednesday of each month for a full day, and the project teams meet up on the side at times deemed convenient. A graduation ceremony takes place in May.

Candidates in the 2012-2013 class are a strong mix of professionals from many walks of life — a police lieutenant, a SMART engineer, a librarian, a restauranteur, bankers, a Novato Theater volunteer, a youth center board member, entrepreneurs ... the list goes on.
