History was made at Dunphy Field for Novato South Little League on Monday, March 12.
The White Sox led the Diamondbacks 6-4 in the bottom of the sixth inning and there were two outs with the game seconds from being over. Will Sigmund came up with the bases loaded and jacked a solid home run for a walk-off grand slam and an 8-6 win.
It was a wonderful event for everyone, with both teams and families celebrating what they had just witnessed. This is what Little League is all about.
