Eat Out March 13-18 and Support the Marin Justice Center

With a fundraiser called Dine For Justice, you can grab a quick bite to eat or enjoy a leisurely meal and help your family, friends and neighbors who need assistance in navigating the complicated legal system or acquiring information about their public rights and responsibilities.

From March 13-18, eight Marin restaurants will donate a percentage of proceeds to the Marin Justice Center, the collaborative of nonprofit and local agencies working to provide seamless, effective and coordinated legal and advocacy services for the residents of Marin County.

Participating restaurants for Dine for Justice are: Bayside Café (Sausalito), Bogie’s Café (San Rafael), Fresh Choice (Novato), Gaspare’s Pizzeria Ristorante (San Rafael), Max’s Restaurant (Corte Madera), Panama Hotel (San Rafael), Rancho Nicasio (Nicasio), Wipeout Bar & Grill (Greenbrae).

Diners must present the Dine for Justice flier (downloadable from www.marinjusticecenter.org) and eat out during the times/dates listed on the flyer in order for donations to be made.

Marin Justice Center Collaborative co-chairs Kris Cirby and Cyndy Doherty said the organization serves an important role in the county by leveraging the collective work of many separate entities to streamline and improve services. Last year, Marin Justice Center agencies worked to educate or help county residents on a variety of problems related to housing, foreclosures, employment, consumer issues, civil rights, family law issues, domestic violence and public benefits.
