Highway 101 Traffic Slowed By Caltrans Work

NOVATO, CA — Traffic on southbound US Highway 101 is slowed in Marin County because of work by a Caltrans crew.

The workers are repairing a guardrail near the Rowland Boulevard offramp.

One lane is close because of the work, with intermittent closures of a second lane possible.

The closure was reported just before 5 a.m. Friday.

There is no estimate of how long the repairs will take.

By 6:45, traffic through part of the area was down to 25 mph.
