Injured Mountain Biker Rescued By CHP Helicopter: Video
Rescue crews hoisted an injured mountain biker to safety and flew them to a nearby hospital after a trail crash.

NOVATO, CA — Two aircrews and the Novato Fire Department joined forces Sunday afternoon to rescue a person injured in a mountain bike crash on a trail northeast of Marinwood.
The California Highway Patrol's H-30 helicopter worked with REACH's Con Air 1 and Novato Fire to reach the injured biker after a collision near Chicken Shack Fire Road, according to the CHP.
The H-30 crew flew a flight medic to the scene and worked with firefighters on the ground to hoist the victim from the trail. The crew transported the person to Con Air 1, which carried the patient to Santa Rosa Memorial to receive medical care.
