Juvenile Arrested In Novato Probation Sweep

NOVATO, CA — A juvenile was arrested last month during a Marin probation sweep, Novato police said on the agency’s Facebook page.

The Marin County Juvenile Probation Department conducted the juvenile compliance check in collaboration with Novato police.

“Officers made 10 standard contacts, curfew compliance checks, and engaged in various searches to locate any contraband that juveniles on probation might be harboring in their residence and/or vehicles,” Novato police said.

“These checks ensure that juveniles follow their court orders and help prevent youth violence within the community.”
