Marin Master Gardeners distribute seeds at June 4 Novato Farmers Mkt
Marin Master Gardeners and Novato Library are distributing Provider Bean seeds for a One Seed One Marin Community grow this summer.
The Novato Library and the Marin Master Gardeners encourage Novato residents to grow the Provider Bush Bean as part of One Seed One Marin Community, a program geared to building a community of growers to share experiences and to learn how to save seeds. These seeds are available at the Novato Library Seed Library all month and also at the Novato Farmers Market Marin Master Gardener booth on Tuesday, June 4. These are easy to grow determinate snap beans. They mature in 55-60 days.
Growers will be able to participate in workshops at the Novato Library in June, August and September. Share your experiences on the Google Group one-seed-one-marin-community@googlegroups.com,email novatogrows@gmail.comwith questions, and you can always ask the Marin Master Gardeners questions about your crops.
